Girls Golf Fair, Free for Girls of All Ages

Swing Like a Girl!

Girls of all ages and levels, even those who have never swung a club, are invited to a free Girls Golf Fair on Sunday, July 12, 2015, in Portland, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Note: This is a new date due to extreme weather conditions on the original date.

The free event will be held rain or shine at the short-game practice area adjacent to Riverside South Golf Course, Portland. The Girls Golf Fair is designed to introduce girls to the game of golf in a low-key, fun environment and encourage those who already play to continue with this lifelong sport. Girls of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend. There will be free instruction in putting, chipping and driving as well as SNAG® Golf for beginners, miniature golf, plenty of give-aways, fun contests, crafts, music, prizes and information on junior golf programs and college scholarships for young women.
