MOVING AHEAD IN 2012 Since 2011, The First Tee of Maine has been administered by the Maine Golf Foundation. The Maine Golf Foundation (MGF) is the parent organization of the Maine State Golf Association (MSGA), Southern Maine Women's Golf Association (SMWGA) and the Women's Maine State Golf Association (WMSGA). Other organizations with representation on the MGF Board of Directors include the Maine Chapter of the NEPGA, the Superintendents Association, the Maine Golf Hall of Fame and Golf Maine. The First Tee of Maine conducted two major junior programs in 2011 and will continue offering those programs at Riverside Golf Course in Portland and Val Halla Golf Course in Cumberland in 2012. We also plan to build on our experience in Greater Portland by expanding our affiliates into other parts of the great State of Maine. Stayed tuned for that! |
